According to 2018 Oregon Housing and Community Services (OHCS) research, 1 out of 3 Jackson County renters are paying more than 50% of their income in rent.  For renters with extremely low income, this percentage jumps to 4 out of 5 paying more than 50% of their income in rent.  See link for Jackson County’s Demographic and Housing Profile.
